Social Studies

The MLWGS Social Studies curriculum is based on a systematic, critical study of social science

The department provides students with an international perspective so they can fulfill the mission of creating individuals who will “lead, participate, and contribute in a rapidly changing global society.”  Opportunities to develop and expand learning are present not only in the classroom but also through various department-sponsored programs and extracurricular activities.
