DESCRIPTION:The Black Legacy/Black Lives: African American History and Culture senior seminar (taught by NaKita Lee) is planning an experiential learning trip to Tulsa and Oklahoma City\, Oklahoma for March 13-16\, 2025. \nThe trip intends to help students connect deeply to critical moments concerning race\, religion\, gender\, and equity in the United States. The course aims to provide a nuanced understanding of the vibrant tapestry of African American experiences through experiential learning such as a field trip to one of the landmarks of what has been historically called Black Wall Street.
