College Kick-Off 2023 is on February 2

Parents of Sophomores and Juniors: Save the Date!

College Kick-Off will take place on Thursday, February 2.  Its goal is to generate more awareness of college admissions, support students through their college search and application process, and set them up for success!

Senior/college counselors Rachel Loving and Kim Forquer (the planners and moderators of this event) will be joined onstage by panelists from Georgetown University, University of California-Berkeley, University of Mary Washington, VCU, and more!

Parents of 10th graders* are invited to join their students in the MLWGS Auditorium on 2/2/23 from 10:15-11:30 AM.

Parents of 11th graders* are invited to join their students in the MLWGS Auditorium on 2/2/23 from 1:10-3:10 PM; college reps will be available (for 11th grade parents only) until 3:30 PM for additional Q&A.

*Please note that due to limited seating capacity, each student may be accompanied by only 1-2 parents or guardians to their assigned assembly.  Look for more information about this event coming soon.
