Congratulations to the following senior Dragons that were selected by a committee of the VHSL for First Team All-Region Volleyball:

  • Christian Walsh (Chesterfield)
  • Wood Johnson (Richmond)
  • Jack Sisk (Richmond)
  • Bruce Yanovitch (Richmond) selected as the Defensive Specialist for the First Team.

Christian Walsh was also recognized as Player of the Year.

MLWGS is thrilled with the quality of this great group and excited about their enthusiasm that has been very apparent.

Additional distinction went to senior Maddox Johnson (Chesterfield), who was selected for Second Team All-Region.

Good luck to the entire team as they play Patrick Henry HS for the State championship on Saturday at 10 am at the Siegel Center.
