Director’s Winter Break Message

Dear Dragon Nation,

We have once again made it to the Winter Break!  Things have returned to something more familiar than the last couple of years.  We enjoyed an awesome Fall Festival, Spirit Week, Homecoming Dance, and the Freshmen lock-in.  Throughout all of the fun, we have kept up on our academics and seen the triumph of our fall sports teams.  Not too shabby at all!

This time of year is a good time to reflect upon our lives and to take stock of what we have, especially following a period where so many have suffered in so many ways.  I think that when we take a good look around, we will find that we still have so much for which to be thankful.  It is easy to lose sight of the good when all one sees on the news is so depressing, but our MLWGS kids are still going to have a huge impact on the future, and that is worth celebrating!

I hope you and your family enjoy a restful and safe winter break and a very happy New Year.

Sincerely,

Robert Lowerre, Director
