Dear Dragon Nation,
We have once again made it to the Winter Break! With all that has been going on, this break is markedly different than any other one that I have ever anticipated. Never the less, it is still a break where we can disconnect from the challenges of school and try to make the best out of what has been a terrible situation.
This time of year is a good time to reflect upon our lives and to take stock of what we have, especially in a season where so many have suffered in so many ways. I think that when we take a good look around, we will find that we still have so much for which to be thankful. It is easy to lose sight of the good when all one sees on the news is so depressing, but our MLWGS kids are going to have a huge impact on the future, and that is worth celebrating!
