Of the 30 exceptional scholar-athletes assembled from around the region at the Lexus Leadership Awards banquet last evening, the Dragons accounted for 5.  Lexus recognizes students in the region based on rigorous examination of the students’ achievements in classrooms, communities, and playing fields.  Michael Benos, Shanthi Hiremath, Katie Pokorny, Emma Call, and Jack Miller are indeed emblematic of the wonderful collection of students and families we are privileged to serve at Maggie Walker.  We also extend our congratulations to Phuong Dao of Mills Godwin who was awarded the Lexus Scholarship for 2016.  Go Dragons Go!
