Dragons create PSA for Hitting Cancer Below the Belt

MW Mural

We are pleased to share a PSA from two Maggie Walker students, Brynn Diefenderfer (’23-Chesterfield) and Callie Kennedy (’25-Henrico) who work with the colon cancer organization Hitting Cancer Below the Belt. These students created a PSA and wanted to share an opportunity to have fun and help fundraise for the cause.  The link for their PSA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JhmtoHR1K8

The Boxer Brief 5k is Hitting Cancer Below the Belt (HCB2’s) main fundraising event of the year! Join them at 8:00 a.m. June 10th at City Stadium, home of the Richmond Kickers. Register for the event at Boxer Brief 5K – Hitting Cancer Below the Belt (hcb2.org)! The High School Challenge is back this year! High School students can win money for their schools and designate the department to receive those funds. The top two finishers in the High School Challenge can win $250 and $150 respectively for their school. We will award $100 to the school with the largest participation. Select the Maggie Walker team already created to join if you are a student! We hope to see you there!
