Dragons impress at Saturday’s TSA South Central Regional Fair

Congratulations TSA members for an outstanding effort on Saturday, March 5th, at the TSA South Central Regional Fair that was held at Highland Springs High School where students compete in a variety of technology-based individual and team competitions. 

The following students who placed in the top 3 (listed below) have qualified for the state competition:
Winston Crane (’25-Richmond) 2nd Place in CAD Architecture Design
Sree Gangireddy (’25-Henrico) 2nd Place in Engineering CAD
Sutton Marks (’23-Hanover) 1st Place in Engineering CAD
Sanjay Anup  (’25-Henrico), Aditya Badhrayan (’25-Henrico), Isabella Lee (’22-Chesterfield), Nathan Lee (’25-Chesterfield), and Pooja Muthuraj (’22-Henroc) 2nd Place in Music Production (team event)
Viswa Subramanian (’23-Henrico) 2nd Place Prepared Presentation
Kushal Gowda (’25-Henrico) and William Smith (’24-Henrico) 2nd Place Structural Engineering Design (team event)
Parth Tornekar (’24-Henrico) and Imran Aly Rassiwalla (’24-Henrico) 1st Place in Debating Technological Issues (team event)
Devesh Kumar (’24-Henrico) 3rd Place in Extemporaneous Presentation

“Congratulations to our MLWGS TSA team,” said Zachary Zelenak, faculty sponsor.  “Many of these students competed for the first time at the high school level at the TSA South Central Regional Fair. MLWGS students placed in the top three in seven different events. Please congratulate these students on their hard work the next time you see them!”
