Governor McAuliffe Seeks Nominations for Volunteerism Awards

The Governor’s Volunteerism and Community Service Awards recognize the significant contributions of Virginia citizens to the life and welfare of the Commonwealth and its people. One award is presented in each of nine categories.  These outstanding award winners represent the millions of generous Virginians who offer their time and talents to others each year.

Awards will be presented in individual and group categories, including youth, senior and adult volunteers, faith-based organizations, families that volunteer together, community organizations, small businesses, and corporations. We invite you to nominate an outstanding volunteer today! A special ceremony is held in the spring to recognize these amazing volunteers.

Nominate an Outstanding Volunteer!

Nominations are underway for the 2017 Virginia Governor’s Volunteerism Awards! The nomination period runs from October 17-December 20, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. EST.
