Happy New Year

Good day, everyone.  In addition to wishing you good fortune in the new year, I want to update you on some ‘goings on’ as we move onward into the new year.

A big thank you goes out to our community for the support provided to our school through our Amazon Associates affiliation.  More than $4,000 of goods were purchased in December 2014 via the Amazon link under the Support tab of our homepage (https://mlwgs.com).  We received an average of 5% from your purchases or a total of $200.  Thank you so much.

As you know, we host student assessment days this month on two consecutive Saturday’s.  This year the days are the 24th and the 31st.  We expect to access more than 1,100 students over these two days.  We are thus looking forward to welcoming another promising group of talented students from around the region to the class of 2019.  Because this year’s graduating class size is 176 students, we expect the incoming class to be approximately the same size.

Also please be alerted to the nuance in our end of semester schedule.  Our exam/early student release schedule runs from 22-27 January and the end of semester/student holiday on 28 January (https://mlwgs.com/calendar).

Thank you so much for your tireless and informed support of this great school.  If I can be of assistance to you please call, email, or stop in for a visit.  Onward into the new year!
