Honor Council Elections are coming soon

If you’re a current sophomore or junior who’s interested in running to be an Honor Council representative for your class, the application is now live! Please visit the ‘Resources’ tab in Schoology for the application information.

For juniors, their application is due Wednesday, April 19th, candidate speeches are at lunch in Room 204 on Thursday, April 20th, and teacher signature pages are due Friday, April 21st. Voting will occur via Google Form from Friday, April 21st through Monday, April 24th. One representative will be elected to serve for the end of the 2022-2023 school year and the entirety of the 2023-2024 school year. Junior Honor Council elections are atypical, but we had a member step down this year and would like to go into next year with a full Council.

For sophomores, their application is due Wednesday, April 12th, candidate speeches are at lunch in Room 204 on Thursday, April 13th, and teacher signature pages are due Friday, April 14th. Voting will occur via Google Form from Friday, April 14th through Monday, April 17th. Three representatives will be elected to serve on the Council for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years.

Campaigning for this election is not tolerated, and if you campaign in any way (posters, hand-outs, social media posts, fliers, announcements, etc.) your application will be voided.

We are absolutely ecstatic to see what the Class of 2024 and the Class of 2025 can bring to the table in terms of strengthening our school’s community of trust, integrity, and accountability, and we can’t wait to welcome our new Representative in the coming weeks!
