Industrial 3D Printer!

To enhance our student-centered technological advancements, our much anticipated industrial 3D printer arrived recently.  This printer will be housed in our engineering lab and will support our engineering courses (which we anticipate will be VCU dual-enrollment next school year) and also available to robotics, physics, and other relevant applications.  This printer supplements other consumer 3D printers that we procured in recent years (with the support of our Board) that are used in our arts and mathematics programs.  Industrial 3D printers have large print capacities, top-notch resolution and use extremely durable materials.  Students can thus use the industrial 3D printer for manufacturing fully functioning, quality prototypes.  We are extremely grateful to our Foundation for their generous support of this important and unique instructional tool!
