Meet the new coach for Varsity Boys Basketball

Welcome to Maggie Walker Governor’s School’s new varsity head coach, Dr. Cecric Moore.

Former Thomas Jefferson High School three-sport standout, Dr. Cedric Moore Jr. will be the new leader of the Maggie Walker Varsity Boys Basketball Team. Moore, a former Assistant Coach at Eastern Mennonite University (served under Tom Baker), captained the EMU team and led them back into the ODAC tournament. Moore also assisted Edmund Sherod Sr. (current St. Catherine’s School Coach) for Court Authority AAU Team. While at Thomas Jefferson, Moore was an all Colonial District selection in football, basketball, and baseball.
