MLWGS Bhangra wins 2nd Place at the Festival of India

MLWGS Bhangra dedicated a lot of time preparing for both the Festival of India last weekend and our upcoming Fall Festival on October 11th. The Festival of India took place at the downtown Convention Center, and all the hard work paid off as the team won the 2nd place trophy!

“Their routine is long and complex, with a wedding theme, and runs for about 8 minutes (phew!),” said club co-sponsor Amanda Lemco. “This is a special treat because the Fall Festival choreography, and generally most school-oriented performances, tend to be about half this length.”

We’re proud of all the work they’ve put into choreographing and practicing, and we think they were great! The club is also sponsored by Aparna Harger.
