“I’m happy to report that both orchestras earned perfect scores at assessment this past Friday,” said MLWGS Visual and Performing Arts Teacher Allison Barnes. Her students achieved Superior ratings again! One of our ensembles played grade 5 music and the other played grade 6 (with 6 being the highest possible level).
Orchestra Assessment is a yearly requirement where students play for a panel of judges and are graded. This fulfills both national and statewide standards in music education.
We’re cheering on the band as they go through the same process this week.
