MLWGS Public Hearing on Proposed FY17 Budget, Thursday, March 17th @ 10:00 am, Room153

Meeting will begin after the conclusion of regularly scheduled Regional School Board meeting.

The MLWGS Public Hearing comment period shall not exceed one hundred twenty (120) minutes.  Each speaker will be allotted three (3) minutes to make his/her comments.  Individuals representing groups will be allotted five (5) minutes.

All speakers are encouraged to leave a copy of their comments with the Board’s Clerk.

Citizens must schedule their appearance with the Board’s Clerk (Barbara Marshall) no later than 10:00 am on the day of the public hearing meeting.

Protocol Guidelines for Participation

Speakers should state their full legal name.

Speakers will be permitted to address or question the Director, or any other staff member directly. Speakers are encouraged to provide an email address with the Board’s Clerk for follow-up answers.

Speakers must confine their comments to Maggie Walker Governor’s School FY17 budget proposal only.

Speakers will not be allowed to campaign for public office, promote private business ventures, engage in personal attacks of anyone, or use profanity or vulgar language.

Applause is permitted during the presentation period only.

Citizens may express their views in writing in lieu of any oral presentation.

Hearing-impaired persons may contact the Regional School Board Clerk in advance to make arrangements for an interpreter.
