Masks are required for in-person attendance. In-person attendance is restricted to the limitations of the number of participants who can socially distance at 3 feet minimally while wearing a mask at all times. If an individual is unable to wear a mask and needs accommodation, the individual must notify the Regional School Board Clerk, by 10:00 a.m. of the day before the meeting and a separate opportunity will be available as an ADA accommodation.
The Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School Regional Board meeting will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 9:00 am. Location: MLWGS Auditorium
The board will welcome Mr. Cecil Smith of Prince George and Ms. Mary Benjamin of Dinwiddie at the January meeting as its newest members. Afterward, they will elect officers for 2022 along with authorizing multiple committee memberships. Policy action is an update to the school constitution for approval. And finally, Dr. Lowerre will discuss the school’s latest COVID protocols in practice.
