The Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School Regional Board meeting will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 9:00 am.  Location: Room 153 (Adjunct Classroom)

The board will recognize several of our students starting with the We the People State Championship team, our 2022 Russian Scholar Laureate, four Presidential Scholar Candidates, and the 2023 Scholastic Art and Writing Award winners. February is also School Board Appreciation Month which will provide us an opportunity to express our gratitude with a few surprises planned.

Consent items include our monthly personnel and financial reports. Action items include the approval of the FY17 and F718 audit reports and the finalized list of names for the 2023 Wellness Committee. The first read section will include a new trip proposal to Panama in 2024.

The February meeting packet can be viewed here.

Persons unable to attend in person but wanting to address the Regional School Board during the public comment period are invited to use this form to submit their comments by 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 15, 2023, or email their remarks to the Board Clerk.
