What is cooler than being cool? Grant Tong (Junior), that’s the only answer! The Shooter, The Calm and Collected Competitor, The Closer!
Grant is a stellar student who is a valued member of the Maggie Walker Community and student body. He excels in the classroom and also as a talented musician. Often seen doing class assignments right up until game time, he is the true definition of student-athlete
Grant lets his work speak for itself. He can sometimes be a person of few words. Silent but monumental, and late into the boys’ basketball contest against Mechanicville, his skills were on display.
Following a 26-point game against Mechanicville in December, Grant led his team to victory last Tuesday with a season high 32 points and a transition 3-point shot to seal the double overtime game for the Dragons.
Legend would say that Dragons are loud and boisterous beings. Hot-headed and drawing attention at all times.
