MLWGS Scholar-Athlete of the Week, January 21, 2025 – Caroline Walton – Girls’ Swim

@patientfirst

Caroline Walton, a junior (Henrico), is a third-year member of the Maggie Walker Swim and Dive team. She has excelled as a top swimmer throughout her three years and was part of the State Championship team in 2023.

“Caroline is our fastest swimmer in both the 50 Free and 100 Free events and consistently serves as the anchor in our relays, bringing home victories time and time again,” said coach Heather Kemmerly. “She is an incredible role model for our younger team members and demonstrates quiet leadership.”

When Caroline is not competing for Maggie Walker, she trains with her year-round team, NOVA. We are proud to have Caroline on our team and look forward to the upcoming State Championships this year, as well as her senior year next year.

The swim and dive teams are also coached by Deanna Gulick.
