Maggie Walker hosted our very own chess tournament on Saturday, March 11th, with 95 players coming from all over Virginia, even as far as Alexandria. Some of the Chess Club’s members chose to volunteer and raise money, while others chose to compete in the tournament, earning us 1st place as a school team in the K-12 section. Thank you to Arjun A., Saket S., and Eric H. for directing the tournament, all the volunteers for their help, and Mr. Adam Rotche for his supervision and support of our club!
