Virtual SABR Diamond Dollars Competition
March 18-20, 2022
Mr. Dickson Benesh is again taking his students to the eleventh annual SABR Analytics Conference (virtual this year) that brings together the top minds in the baseball analytics community to discuss, debate and share insightful ways to analyze and examine the great game of baseball.
In the annual Diamond Dollars Virtual Case Competition, undergraduate, graduate and professional school students from colleges and universities across the country compete against each other by preparing an analysis and presentation of a baseball operations decision — the type of decision a team’s GM and their staff is faced with over the course of a season.
Programming for MLWGS will begin on the afternoon of Friday, March 18 and will run through Sunday afternoon on March 20.
Mr. Benesh’s students medaled back-to-back for four years at SABR in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. We wish them success again this year.
