Congratulations to Ally Lichtman, ’25-Henrico, who competed at the Virginia History Day District 8 Competition on Saturday, February 28, 2023. Her research paper, “An Unlikely Exchange: Cultural Solidarity and Syncretism between Central European Jewish Refugees and the Jewish and Chinese Communities in Shanghai during World War II” advanced to the state competition to be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture.
