Record number of MLWGS students accepted to District Band

Fourteen MLWGS Band students participated in district band from February 2-4. Students worked with master conductors Dr. Terry Austin and David Kauffman to prepare a concert over the three-day event. 2023 marks a record for the number of students accepted to district band from MLWGS. Four students will continue on to audition for All-Virginia Band at the end of February. Go band!
