Every spring, middle school students from neighboring school districts participate in student-led language workshops designed by Maggie Walker language students.

Students will be assigned to three languages/cultures (out of the 10 offered at MLWGS) and will spend time in each workshop immersed in the culture. The languages offered include:

      • Spanish
      • French
      • Russian
      • German
      • American Sign Language
      • Chinese
      • Japanese
      • Latin
      • Italian
      • Arabic

Workshops will give participating students an opportunity to ask questions, learn about languages at Maggie Walker, and take a sneak peek into the life of an MLWGS student.

Register for the event by filling out this form, which includes information about payment, language workshop preferences, student information, and parent contacts. Registration MUST be completed by January 31st, 2023. The fee is $5 per student, and includes lunch. Please visit the Registration Payment Portal to complete the fee payment. Additionally, it’s vital that you note the student name or school name in the “Notes” section of the registration form. Thank you!
