Successful Budget Town Hall

A successful budget town hall meeting was held last evening.  It was wonderful to see so many community members turn out and there were some new faces among the attendees! In addition to demystifying certain aspects of the budget process and clearing up some issues via question/answer, the community shared their thoughts in terms of budget focus areas.  Generally, these areas can be grouped under six (6) broad categories:  compensation and benefits, instructional materials/textbooks, access to rigorous/unique course options, class size, facility maintenance/capital, technology, and teacher planning time. Please know that these areas and the detail contained in them will be thoughtfully considered as we develop our FY16 Operating Budget.  Thank you for your participation in and support of this wonderful school. Go Dragons!
