Maggie Walker Governor’s School is fortunate to have a non-profit 501c3 created solely to support and enhance academic enrichment opportunities at Maggie Walker. The Foundation directly underwrites things like academic competitions, student travel, as well as new technology, and student aid. The Foundation also serves to keep our growing alumni connected to the school, its current students, and the RVA community.

The mission of the Governor’s School Foundation
The Foundation seeks charitable contributions to enhance the educational experience of the school’s exceptional students. The Foundation develops, implements, and supports fundraising and outreach efforts to alumni, parents, and other friends. These efforts enable the school to maximize academic opportunities, expand extracurricular programs, support faculty education, strengthen administrative infrastructure, improve facilities, and acquire innovative technology.
