In order to get the school year off to a great start, freshmen are invited to an orientation on August 16, 2022. In addition to receiving class schedules, freshmen will also have the opportunity to meet their teachers and classmates. It is also recommended that if your student has a personal laptop or another electronic device bring it so they can enter their passwords and such directly.
Activities designed to help incoming parents gain a better grasp of procedures at MLWGS and to connect them with staff and current parent leaders are also embedded in the orientation. Parking is available in the lower student lot which is accessible via Lombardy Street.
Students are encouraged to bring a laptop if they own one for technology sessions. School laptops will be available during Freshman Orientation for those students who don’t bring personal devices. Students should either bring lunch or $6 to purchase lunch.
