Amazing job at States this weekend! The girls team were victorious AGAIN and boys team were the runners up with only SEVEN swimmers!
There were some fantastic swims and dives this year. Our divers started us off strong on Thursday placing 3rd, 4th, and 7th and we couldn’t have won without them! Make sure to congratulate Emily Rucker, Charlie Hill, and Kate Bowman when you see them!
As we continued on the swimming side, our boys 200 Medley relay (Crash Ackerly, Ben Li, Devin Naoroz, Zach Carlson) started us off with our first win! A big shoutout to our double winners Crash Ackerly (200 IM and 100 Fr), Devin Naoroz (100 Fl, 100 Bk), and Christine Datovech (50 Fr, 100 Fl). Our freshmen Caroline Walton (200 Fr, 500 Fr), Francie Mckay (200 IM, 500 Fr), Brennan Harbour (200 Med relay) and David Lins (400 Fr relay) all put up EXCELLENT times on Friday, we can’t wait to see what you all do in the next few years!
And lastly, a big round of applause to our seniors who all swam so well in their last meet as Dragons: Devin Naoroz, Audrey Paulson, Susanna Kast, Ben Davis, Zach Carlson, Ala Killen, and Colleen Blakeney. We have loved having you as a part of our team and wish you the best of luck on your journey forward. We will celebrate all of our seniors, swimmers, and divers more at our team banquet in the following weeks.
