Maggie Walker’s scholastic bowl team is the 2026 state champions! Eight of our players travelled to Williamsburg on Saturday to compete in the VHSL State Championship, and we came out on top!
Rohan Neelakantan (’27-Henrico) was our team captain, and he led Bladen Kidd (’27-Richmond), David Lins (’26-Chesterfield), Bridget Finley(’27-Henrico), Jaanvi Kanda (’28-Henrico), and David Chen (’28-Henrico) to victory. Bladen was also recognized as one of the top five individual scorers at the tournament and was inducted into the All-State team. Freshmen and aspiring future champs Kennedy Greene (Richmond) and Eleanor Chin (Hanover) also joined us to lend their support from the sidelines.
