Fall Festival is Almost Here!!

Get ready for some fall fun at Maggie Walker!  The MLWGS 27th annual Fall Festival will take place after school on Friday, September 27th from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Fall Festival is a fantastic event for all students, families, MLWGS staff, and the surrounding community. Students run booths showcasing their organizations, serving delicious food and performing live on stage.  All proceeds raised benefit the participating student groups, and help fund their activities for the year.

It takes a large team of parent volunteers to work before, during, and after to make this tradition a success year after year. None of the volunteer jobs for the Fall Fest require previous experience. There are short shifts available throughout the day, so please look for a slot that fits your schedule. You’re permitted to bring an external mouse for your device and an external keyboard if your device is a tablet. You can’t use detachable device privacy screens. All other applications and programs must be closed during the test. Students can complete this form if they will need to borrow a device on test day.

Ms. Cobb will be visiting English classrooms at the end of September to help students prepare for the day. Please feel free to contact Ms. Cobb at [email protected] if you have additional questions.
