Awesome Trip to State Gov’t Today

IMG_1680[1]

Our freshman class enjoyed a wonderful trip to state government today that included an engaging talk with Senior Justice Russell, lead Supreme Court Attorney and MLWGS parent Lori Lord, a wonderful lunch on the capital grounds, a visit from Governor McAuliffe (front row center), a tour of the capital building, and participation in a mock session of the House of Delegates.

A special thank you for a job well done is in order for Sam Ulmschneider for his coordination of the trip and to our awesome teacher and parent chaperones for their support.
