Barber recognized as outgoing chair of the Regional School Board

Sarah Barber, School Board Chair

L-R: Ogburn and Barber

Ms. Sarah Grier Barber was recognized by the current chair, Ms. Micky Ogburn-Henrico, with a gavel award during today’s Regional School Board meeting thanking her for service to the RSB as its chair 2018-2019.

Sarah has been a member of the Regional School Board from New Kent Public Schools since January 2012. One of the many actions she has taken on behalf of the school was hiring the current director, Dr. Robert Lowerre, and development of the Strategic Plan that has guided school goals since its adoption in 2015.

Thank you!
