Save the date for the MLWGS Annual Fall Festival on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Students and faculty advisors should watch for booth and entertainment sign-ups next week. Parents and guardians will have plenty of volunteer opportunities as well…since it takes a village. Fall Festival is a PTSA sponsored event that celebrates our school’s international focus and raises funds for all of our student groups. Additionally, this experience offers our students a great opportunity to apply concepts learned in the classroom to a real-world application:
· Economics: Understanding supply and demand
· Authenticity: Staying true to your core culture.
· Marketing: Grabbing attention to sell products
· Operations: Staffing, recruiting, and organization
· Rules and Regulations: The Fall Festival committee, administration, etc. all have rules for safety, operational efficiencies, and keeping the show running, and students learn to accept them and work in society
· Artistic Expression: Trying something new, showing your talent, and being yourself
