Student loans are a common consideration for students and parents who are figuring out how best to pay for college. But the student loan process can be confusing. Scott Kemp, Student Loan Advocate for the State Council for Higher Education in Virginia (SCHEV), will join us at our next PTSA meeting on Thursday, March 12 from 8-9 a.m. in Room 153. Scott will unravel award letters for us, describe the different types of student loans and the pros and cons of each, and offer tips for making good decisions about student loans. Stop by and learn how to make your borrowing strategies pay off. All parents are welcome – this information is helpful for any age student.
