Informational Sessions at MLWGS, November 9th, 10th & 11th

If your child is an academically oriented current 8th grade student, then you should consider Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School.

Located in the heart of Richmond, Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School provides unparalleled educational opportunities and personalized learning.  In 2013 a Richmond Times-Dispatch editorial, said that “Maggie Walker is the finest comprehensive high school — public or private — in Metro Richmond.”  In 2014, Maggie Walker was ranked by Newsweek/The Daily Beast as the 12th best public high school in the nation.  And in 2015, 174 members of the class of 2015 earned $18.9 million dollars in scholarship offers.

Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School will hold three evening informational sessions for students and families interested in knowing more about the program and the admissions process. Each session runs from 6:30 to about 8:30 PM, and they begin in the Maggie Walker auditorium.
