Japanese Program Students Participate in Richmond’s Cherry Blossom Festival

During spring break, students from the Japanese Program at Maggie Walker Governor’s School collaborated with the Richmond Public Library for the Cherry Blossom Festival held on April 2. They taught participants how to write their names in Japanese and shared information about our school’s Japanese Program. This event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to engage with the community while practicing their language skills.

Students of the Japanese language and culture at MW are taught by Ms. Yoko Eshita. Well done, team!
