Mil-wigs September Update #3

Speech and debate teams 2026

Our students never cease to amaze.  The most recent creative endeavor involved student athletes from cross country engaging in a friendly game of Human Chess.  It was awesome!

This updates includes a few pieces of disparate, yet useful pieces of information.

Last week we completed class assemblies.  As is our custom, we focused on themes including the importance of academic engagement, academic honor, community service, and internet safety.  This week our counseling team is hosting required PSAT lunch time class meetings.  As you may know, the PSAT is changing so in addition to providing a general overview as we normally do, our counseling team is highlighting some of the important changes for students.

We have added a “Transportaion” link to our webpage that can be found under the “About” tab.  The page links to each of our 12 partnering districts and includes a phone contact number for your ready reference (https://mlwgs.com/welcome-to-mlwgs/transportation).

Below is a list of our fall recruitment schedule.  We love to have parents/students organic to each district present during these visits because it adds a significant measure of authenticity to the presentation.  If your schedule permits, please email Ms. Rainey at [email protected].
