Things continue to ramp up to full speed at MLWGS.  This week was witness to awesome teaching and learning, class assemblies, and epic athletic battles.    The lunch lines seem to have settled a bit and students appear to have settled into the academic routines that will accompany them for the next 171 school days.  In addition, our digital media lab was filled out with beautiful/powerful new computers and advanced software updates.

Next week school will be closed on Wednesday, 9/23 for the Bike Race and Back to School Night will be held on 9/24.

Reminder to Richmond Students/Parents.  Richmond Public Schools will close 2 hours early on Thursday, 9/24 and will be closed all day on Friday, 9/25.  On Thursday afternoon, Richmond buses will arrive at MLWGS early and Richmond students will be advised of their arrival.  Those Richmond students who do not ride the bus home may of course remain at school; however, such students/parents will need to provide their own transportation home that afternoon/evening.  On Friday, Richmond Public Schools will not run transportation as all RPS schools will be closed.  Richmond students/parents thus need to provide their own transportation on Friday, 9/25.

Best wishes for a fantastic weekend.
