At the UVA Model United Nations conference attended by hundreds of students from across the region on November 15-16, several Maggie Walker students received awards for their performance. Congratulations to Riley Dewitt (’21-CCPS), Hanh Le (’21-CCPS), Sentil Meyyappan (’21-Henrico), Siddharth Venigalla (’20-CCPS), and Richard Zhai (’20-Henrico) for winning Verbal Commendations; Samantha Fidler (’21-Henrico) and Ronit Jain (’22-Henrico) for winning Honorable Mentions, and Michael Kish (’22-Henrico) for winning Outstanding Delegate.
