The MLWGS Bhangra team will perform this Sunday, Dec. 14 at the Valentine Museum to coincide with the new exhibit, Generations: Stories of Asian Americans in Richmond. The Valentine is eager to highlight Punjabi culture (and feature student talent!), so Bhangra will be performing along with other local student groups at the Winter Wander event. More information can be found here, but it is a free event from 12-4 and Bhangra is expected to perform at 1 pm in the museum’s multipurpose room. Please join us if you like!

“I am also extremely proud to share that Bhangra has been invited to perform at the inaugural gala in January for Lieutenant Governor-elect Hashmi,” said team sponsor Amanda Lemco. Our captains Rewa Totey, Aditi Nair, Priyanka Nyamtabad, Thaman Arepalli, and Sanika Kumar are working hard with the team to make these performances special, so please congratulate them if you see them!
