The Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School will be closed on Friday September 14th in anticipation of the potential flooding of area roads due to Hurricane Florence. All games and competitions for Thursday and through the weekend will be rescheduled. For further updates please check on the school website and through local media. If additional instructional days need to be canceled next week due to safety concerns, messages will be sent through Powerschool to email and phone. Stay safe.
