The Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School EXECUTIVE School Board meeting will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 9:00 am. Location: MLWGS, Room 153. The Executive School Board is comprised of the board members from Petersburg, Goochland, Hanover, King and Queen, and Dinwiddie.
The agenda for this meeting includes the board review of current financial reports and personnel changes and evaluating the progress of the strategic plan.
During the first read items, the board will review many actions related to their January 2025 reorganization meeting including the election of officers, clerks, committee assignments, codes of conduct, and their 2025 calendar of meetings. The board is also asked to consider a new course proposal for the academic year 2026.
