The Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School EXECUTIVE Board meeting will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 9:00 am. Location: MLWGS, Room 153. The Executive Board is comprised of the board members from Petersburg, Goochland, Henrico, King and Queen, and New Kent.
During this meeting, the board plans to recognize a junior from MLWGS who won the 2023 ACTR Russian Scholar Laureate Distinction.
Activities the board will be engaged with include reviewing the current financial reports and personnel changes and evaluating the progress of the strategic plan. They are being requested to approve (1) international trip proposal to Paris for 2024, along with new course proposals for AY25.
During the first read items, the board will review many actions related to their January 2024 reorganization meeting related to the election of officers, clerks, committee assignments, codes of conduct, and their 2024 calendar of meetings.
