MLWGS orchestra had a successful assessment day earning Superior and Excellent ratings

“I’m happy to report that the orchestra had a successful day at assessment yesterday! The Artist Orchestra received unanimous Superior ratings and the Advanced and Intermediate Orchestras received Excellent ratings.  MLWGS Artist Orchestra was one of only two orchestras to play at grade 6 and was the only grade 6 orchestra to receive a superior rating.  Intermediate Orchestra walked off the stage feeling like they’d never played better! The judges were VERY hard with the grading across the whole district, so our high ratings seemed even harder to achieve this year.  If you see an orchestra student, be sure to congratulate them!”

Thanks for all your support,

Allison Barnes, Orchestra Teacher
