During the recognition segment, Junior Hadley Walder will receive the Green Dragon Award as its second recipient.
Key actions include reviewing the current financial reports and personnel changes, approving the school’s 2026-2027 administrative protocols manual, and selecting the new food service provider. The board will also need to decide how to receive or review regulations. Additionally, there will be a vote on aligning the cell phone regulation with the student handbook, as well as finalizing a policy on Student-Athlete Extreme Heat Protections, which was postponed from the September meeting for further updates.
Members will review feedback on their 2026 RSB self-evaluation survey that was completed after their September meeting.
During the first reading section, the board will consider an international trip proposal to England in the spring of 2027, review new course proposals for the academic year 2028, and will be reminded of the multiple actions that will take place at their reorganization meeting in January.
The board will receive their division slot commitment letters for the 2028 academic year. The executive director will use these letters to prepare the next operating budget. Additionally, Ginger O’Neil, the Executive Director of the MLWGS Foundation, will present the annual impact report, which details the enrichment provided to the MLWGS program.
