Patrick Doherty (’24, Chesterfield)
Patrick is a Senior distance captain for the Green Dragon Track & Field program. Earlier this school year Patrick’s leadership was a pivotal piece of the boys run to a Group 3 State XC Title, and he has now followed that up with an indoor track season where he has qualified to states at both the mile and 2 mile distances. Headed into the Region 3B championship meet Pat is ranked in the top 5 of both distance events.
“Patrick has been one of the most consistent MW distance runners in recent memory and this year he has embraced fully the captain role, said Coach Ryan Webb. “He isn’t just the kind of leader that a coach can build a team around, he’s the kind of leader that has built a team around himself.”
