MLWGS Scholar-Athlete of the Week March 18, 2024 (wk#8)- Girls’ Soccer Grace Yoo

@patientfirst

Grace Yoo (’24, Chesterfield)

Grace Yoo is a Captain and 4-year letter winner on the girls’ soccer team. “Grace starts at Left Back for the Dragons but can really play any position on the pitch,” said her coach Lucas Veale. “Though she isn’t the most physically imposing player on the team, Grace is quite likely the most tenacious. She is fantastic in the challenge and wins tackles against any and all opponents. She has great technical skills and maintains an unwavering level of fitness. Grace is the consummate lead by example type of Captain. She seemingly never has an off day and is always buoyant in spirit. She is a fantastic model for the younger players and is going to be pivotal for our team as we head into this year’s state playoffs.”

We send our gratitude to Patient First for supporting Walker Athletics!
