Twelve students from Allison Barnes’ MLWGS orchestra classes have been accepted into this year’s Senior Regional Orchestra. They competed against other students from Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico, Stafford, and Fredericksburg. Being accepted into this orchestra means they are now eligible to audition for the All-State Band and Orchestra in February.
Band teacher Nicholas Merillat proudly announces that Charlie Hill (’26 – Hanover) and Abe Stubblefield (’26 – Richmond) each earned one of four available spots for the Central Virginia region. They are also eligible for All-Virginia Band and Orchestra auditions in the spring.
